My Passport’s Travels

We joined a Facebook group of others on the cruise, as of a week before the cruise, we were almost 500 strong! Lots of ideas and information were exchanged, vlogs and blogs shared, and Fish Extender groups created (Secret Pal exchanges of small gifts while onboard). We did decide against some of the other activities they had planned, like a Cabin Crawl and a Pub Crawl.

Which means our Fish Extender gifts needed to be planned! After much discussion, we ended up with a two part gift – the first part is things we’ve found handy on board past cruises in the staterooms (like an air freshener, Ziplocks and binder clips); the second part is things we’ve found handy ashore (like pen/paper, lip balm, snacks).

Mom took some time to give the “kids” some Hawaiian flare (leis and Maui hooks) while I worked on a Mickey head for our stateroom door.

Otherwise, it’s just been a matter of watching the countdown shrink… Until finally –

It’s almost here! Time to start the pack stack! Tomorrow’s laundry day, Friday’s packing day and Eve arrives and Saturday, we’re off!
