This is it – the last day at sea for this cruise – but it’s only the halfway point for the cruise. We all woke up early this morning, which meant breakfast at Cabanas. Winner, winner, Churro Mickey Waffle dinner, uh, breakfast! We played a final game of bingo, and while Eve and I both got to stand, we neither one won. On the plus side, we learned that “O lulu ya, Betty!” means “Shake it up, Betty!”

After bingo, we went back to the stateroom to change for Palo brunch. We had an amazing meal, with a beautiful view, and great service from Louise from England. We shared a goat cheese and sun-dried tomato pizza. Eve had the snapper, Mom had the chicken parm (of course!) and I had the veal saltimbucco. I had an amazing apple cinnamon sticky bun for dessert and Mom and Eve both had the chocolate hazelnut melting cake.

After a lovely lunch, we strolled back to our stateroom to get into comfy clothes, then headed out to find a place to play games. The Pub was full (college football was on), so we ended up in the French Quarter Lounge. Shortly after we got there, a DCL Trivia game started – and we won!! 14 questions right!!

Eve decided a nap was needed, but Mom and I kept playing games. We did join in the Imagineering Trivia (although really it was mostly a Disney Parks trivia), but didn’t win.

We needed a change of seat, so we tried the pub again and were able to find a table with a lovely view. We spent the rest of the afternoon there; Eve did eventually come join us. We were in the middle of a fiercely contested game of Skipbo when it was time to head to the theater for Frozen, so we decided to maybe catch the later show (spoiler alert: we ended up missing it.)
When the games were finally done, it was up to deck 9. We had already decided that we were going to grab something light from the pool deck for dinner. (If you don’t eat in the dining rooms, the only options for dinner are Petes Boiler Bites and room service.) Chicken strips, cheeseburger and hot dog for dinner! (Eve, me and Mom, respectively) We took a stroll around deck 10 to refill our water bottles and see if we could happen to see stars. Then Eve and I grabbed coffee and we went down to the room to call it a night. We have an island to explore tomorrow!
