My Passport’s Travels

Today was a lovely, lazy day at sea. Sunrise off the balcony, breakfast on the pool deck at the Blue Iguana Cantina (made to order breakfast burritos and arepas), and lots of games. We played some in the casino, then settled in Ocean Plaza to play Skipbo, Phase 10 and lots of trivia. We didn’t do well at any of them, but we had fun. Our best game was Animated Movie Music, General Knowledge was humbling, while Sports and Explain a Movie Badly were fun. Explain a Movie Badly had descriptions like “A Spaceman finds himself in a new environment, where he befriends a dinosaur, dog and pig.” and we had to name the movie.

We took a break for lunch at Guy’s BBQ (yum!!) and some downtime in the room when they were getting ready for karaoke in Ocean Plaza. Made, our steward, had already been by and left a bunny!

The evening show was “Rock Revolution” a tribute to the late 60s. Fun music, but a little artsy (Mom said she like it best when she just closed her eyes and listened, rather than watching the dancing. She also said I’m on my own for the other two nights of production shows!). We grabbed a late dinner at the buffet and called it a night. Tomorrow we have our first port!

Oh, and the movie from trivia was Toy Story!
