Morning! After breakfast at the Cantina, we enjoyed the welcoming committee as we sailed into Cabo!

The rocks were outside our window all day and gave us some beautiful views.

We went ashore for a little bit, mostly to enjoy the tender ride in – where we were greeted by a clear boat, pelicans and sea lions along the way in.

After a little shopping, it was back to the ship for lunch at Guy’s Burger Joint. Mom rested her eyes while I enjoyed the view from the balcony – and all the comings and goings between tenders for two ships and all the little boats doing the Cabo tours.

We played games in Ocean View Lounge (and attempted #1 hit song trivia – to date our worst ever trivia showing), but chose to head back to the room instead of staying for karaoke.

We went by way of deck 11 for some lovely sunset views, and sail away was almost as beautiful. I was especially taken with the pirate ship! They were having quite a party!

Goodbye, Cabo!

This evening’s main theater entertainment was Deal of No Deal – where everyone gets to play along with a chance to win prizes. Neither contestant did very well, nor were Mom and I lucky with playing along. But it was still fun to watch and play. We went back up to the buffet for salads and grabbed pizza from the back deck. The pizza here is almost as good as Princess’ pizza – super thin crust. Back in the room, we finished our game from earlier to the sounds of the wind rattling and whistling against our balcony door. The apparent wind speed right now is 50 mph (35 mph actual wind and 20 knots ship speed). While unusual, it will sing us to sleep.
